Peadar Scanlan is Senior Civil Designer for Bligh Tanner Consulting, and has been working in the civil engineering space since 2004. During his time at Bligh Tanner, he has contributed to social infrastructure, commercial building, and environmental projects. Specifically, he has more than six years’ experience in the design and documentation of commercial and industrial site developments, residential subdivisions, parklands, hospitals, schools and learning centres. He uses 12D and AutoCAD packages to design and document roads, earthworks, stormwater, sewer and water projects.
As Senior Civil Designer, Peadar is often in a client-facing role at Bligh Tanner, acting as the conduit between the client’s design team and our internal designers. His focus is always to ensure the client’s outcomes are achieved and objectives are met.
Notable projects for Peadar during his time at Bligh Tanner are: Dohles Rocks Road, design and documentation of a temporary roundabout as part of the Moreton Bay Rail Corridor for Thiess; Tennyson Reach Parkland, design and documentation of new riverside park with internal and roadside parking for Mirvac; Mt Maria College, Mitchelton, design and documentation of a new 60-space school carpark and drop off zone in addition to the upgrade of an existing service lane; and Keswick Island, design and documentation of roads, services and bulk earthworks for building pads for Keswick Developments.
