Small Creek Documentary: A Civil Engineer’s Design Perspective
In 2016 Bligh Tanner and Landscapeology started the journey of the ‘Small Creek Naturalisation’ project with the goal of restoring a concrete drain back into a natural watercourse.
Upon the successful completion of its initial stages, the project has received incredible recognition, winning multiple awards at both the state and national levels.
Now, a few years on, Bligh Tanner have watched it grow and are reflecting on the success of this site.
We have prepared a short project documentary that reflects upon what can happen when you have the support of a great client, good design and innovation.
Leading the documentary is Principal Engineer and Director of Civil and Water, Alan Hoban. In mid 2020 Alan was awarded Queensland Engineer of the Year, citing his involvement with projects which provide outstanding examples of innovation and resourcefulness.
