Bligh Tanner

Bligh Tanner is the Principal Consultant role for delivering this major road upgrade project for Logan City Council.

The project extents are located along Third Avenue through the suburbs of Marsden and Kingston. The project begins just south of the existing intersection of Third and Fourth Ave where a new reconfigured intersection will be located and continues along Third Ave to tie into the existing 4 lane cross section at Curtisii Court.

The project includes the following key items:

• + Widening of approx. 2km of arterial and sub-arterial roads;
• + Widening of existing abutments under the Logan motorway;
• + Upgrading of two road bridges over Scrubby Creek;
• + Upgrade of two existing unsignalised intersections to signalised. Design incorporates additional through and auxiliary lanes;
• + Incorporation of urban stormwater design to a previous rural area;
• + Flood modelling and analysis of designs;
• + Liaison with key stakeholders including Logan Water, DTMR, Transurban;

Bligh Tanner is responsible for the design and documentation of roadworks, pavements, stormwater drainage, coordination of public utility plant relocations and allocation of service corridors.
