Bligh Tanner Staff Achievements
Bligh Tanner is pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Scott and Dr Michael Lawrence, joining Simon Kochanek as Associate Directors and Leigh Ives as a Principal Structural Engineer. These promotions further strengthen the Bligh Tanner business as it looks to the next 25 years.
Nathan has major project experience in a wide range of building structure types, bringing a considered and versatile approach to technical challenges. Nathan has established a loyal client base delivering projects such as the $35M Australian Catholic University Mercy Building, Griffith University refurbishments and DET schools throughout Queensland.
Michael has built a water quality team known for providing expert operational and management advice to water providers across Queensland, NSW and Tasmania. The team is strengthening their linkages with the Civil and Structural Engineers within Bligh Tanner through stormwater quality monitoring and expert advice for ensuring suitable planning for pathogen management in health care facilities.
Leigh has established a strong reputation for her ability to deliver high quality projects, particularly within the education and health sectors. Leigh prides herself on simplifying and tailoring the structural design of building structures with a well-documented and coordinated approach to design. Leigh has established herself as a reliable and effective member of the Bligh Tanner team with her personal approach to clients and striving to ensure that her clients goals and expectations are met and exceeded.
