Job tasks and responsibilities

The role

We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Revit Drafter to join our busy Structural team and work on a range of projects such as: Hospitals, schools, pedestrian bridges and residential towers.

The Senior Structural Drafter plays a key role within the Structural team and is required to:

  • Provide key support to Principal Engineers and Directors
  • Be a team player and work in a small team of designers


Key responsibilities for the Senior Structural Drafter include:

  • Detailed documentation of structural projects
  • Manage and control documentation delivery
  • Meet deadlines and quality requirements
  • Liaise with clients and other professionals in delivering designs to satisfy the brief
  • Maintain and Develop Revit content
  • Supervise Junior Staff
  • Conduct on-site inspections

Skills and experience

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to possess the following:

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Relevant local experience in structural steel and concrete building projects
  • Minimum 4 years competent experience in a Revit Environment
  • Minimum eight years relevant Structural Drafting experience
  • Relevant experience in consulting structural drafting
  • A good understanding of BIM concepts.
  • Strong computer skills in Revit
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Must possess a current Driver’s Licence
