- Winner: Global grand prize and Australia-South East Asia Regional Prize for Planning, International Water Association Project Innovation Awards 2006.
- Master Plan aims to reduce the demand for drinking water by nearly 85%, using rainwater, recycled water and water conservation to supply the community's initiatives.
- Reductions in wastewater flows achieved using reduced infiltration gravity sewers (RIGS).
- Water-sensitive urban stormwater design minimises runoff rates and improves runoff quality into local waterways.
- Bligh Tanner Director, David Hamlyn-Harris, was Principal Consultant to the Pimpama Coomera Waterfuture team.
