- Structural and civil planning, design and documentation and site phase monitoring for the extension of this existing major hospital.
- Three linked main buildings include a multi-level 70m long medical centre, a 7-storey wards block and a 3-level theatre complex.
- The buildings are a variety of construction types including post-tensioned floors, and a flat plate concrete construction.
- Design incorporates large (up to 1800mm) shallow bored piers that achieve required capacities without expensive and time-consuming excavation support.
- Scope of works incudes carparking and water supply upgrades.
