Rod has built on early academic achievements to be at the forefront of innovative structural design in the Construction industry. As a Director of Bligh Tanner for 16 years Rod has developed very close working relationships with Architects and Clients who utilise his expertise in the complete range of materials and construction systems from fabric to prestressed concrete. Rod has a particular interest in Institutional and Community building projects which demand a high level of quality together with economy through innovation and experience. Rod was responsible for structural engineering from concept design to completion on the $40m South East Transit Busway Station Project and is currently Structural Director for the $30m Stanhope Gardens Catholic College in Sydney.
