Dr Jathu Jatheeshan
Structural Engineer
In addition to his PHD in Structural Engineering at the Queensland University of Technology , Jathu has over five years experience in the construction industry. During this period he has established a strong focus on undertaking challenging and innovative projects which contribute to the solution of real-world problems. He has been a key member of design and project teams in a variety of works with values up to $400 million. These projects include the Brisbane Skytower, 111 Mary St and 300 George Street. Skytower will be one of the tallest towers in Australia upon its completion. More recently, Jathu has been working on residential and commercial projects such as the BCC Land Street Underpass and repairs to the timber structures of the Tallowwood Child Care, which was affected by termites.
