Cameron is Director of Civil Engineering at Bligh Tanner Pty Ltd. His expertise includes managing the design of roads, buildings and development works with a focus on liaising with local authorities, utilities and statutory bodies to provide significant civil infrastructure. With 25 years of experience, Cameron has successfully managed many small and large-scale projects in Australia and the UK, and thrives on the challenge of co-ordinating a skilled team to achieve excellent results.
Cameron is currently managing the delivery of the civil engineering design for the John Flynn Private Hospital Medical Suites and Greenslopes Private Hospital Medical Suites, as well as the civil concept design for Stage 1 of the Nundah Lutheran Care Project. He also delivered the Civil Engineering design for the Queensland State Netball Centre. Other significant projects include managing the temporary road diversion designs for both the Moreton Bay Rail project and the $4.8b Airport Link, and managing the civil concept design throughout the $100M Sunshine Coast Private Hospital development. Cameron’s responsibilities regularly span the design and delivery of: bulk earthworks; erosion and sediment control; stormwater, water and sewer management; road design, civil temporary works, temporary road diversions and construction accesses; carparks; and more.
Cameron worked in the UK for various engineering companies before migrating to Australia to manage the Brisbane Civil team at Robert Bird Group. Now, at Bligh Tanner Cameron enjoys the exciting breadth of work he manages in his Director role. Cameron is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK.
